HELLO,
I AM SIOBHAN, AND I LOVE WORKING IN THE FIELD OF MONTESSORI EDUCATION.

I have 15 years of experience as an AMS-qualified Montessori teacher, working with both young children and their parents. I not only help bring out the best in children, but their parents too. I have two children who also attended Montessori until the beginning of elementary school. I enjoy making Montessori accessible for families and will help you too.

When I’m not teaching Montessori I enjoy listening to live music, cycling, beach camping and walking along the boardwalk with my little Boston Terrier, Lola. I have a BFA from York University and had a career in the film business before following my passion to become a Montessori teacher.

The Montessori teacher is called a ‘director’ or ‘directress’ because we guide the child and do individual presentations based on our observations, rather than from a prepared curriculum.

I love to show parents how to support their child at home, continuing the lessons of independence and building a stronger sense of self. I help families deal with the struggles of raising children, and together we see the possibilities for your child to become a fully independent, curious, joyful learner.
